The CST management team is an experienced group of successful entrepreneurial executives with backgrounds in the security technology and enterprise software industries.

John J. Metil
President and Chief Executive Officer, Founder
John J. Metil is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cyber Security Technologies.

He is best known for his leadership as COO and later as President of Digital Biometrics, Inc., a publicly-traded company in the fingerprint biometrics segment of the security industry. Under his leadership, Digital Biometrics tripled in revenues, turned profitable for the first time in its history, increased in market value seven-fold, and entered into an industry-transforming merger which created the world's first multi-biometric security technology company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Metil co-founded and served as CFO of Tricord Systems, a pioneer in the network server business. He has also served as a partner in The Zebulon Group, a corporate development consulting firm, and as a financial and investment executive with Control Data Corporation.

He currently serves on the board of ID Insight, Inc., a specialized provider of innovative identity theft detection tools for the financial services industry.

Mr. Metil earned an AB magna cum laude from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dr. Kenneth J. Thurber
Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Kenneth J. Thurber is the President and CEO of Architecture Technology Corporation, a privately-held information technology company that he founded in 1981. Cyber Security Technologies was originally formed as a business unit of ATC, and has subsequently been spun out as an independent corporation. Dr. Thurber currently serves as CST's chief technical officer.

Dr. Thurber is the author of 14 books and over 60 papers regarding computer architecture and local area networks, including the first IEEE Computer Society tutorial book on Local Computer Networks. Dr. Thurber has served on the IEEE Computer Society Governing Board, as Chairman of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Data Communications Symposia, and as chairman of the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Computer Communications, . In 1996, the IEEE Computer Society named Dr. Thurber to its "Golden Core" of individuals making the most significant contributions to computing in the first 50 years.

Prior to founding ATC, Dr. Thurber was a Principal Architect for Sperry's Defense Systems Division, where he was responsible for the architecture of several mainframe systems including the Navy's fleet-wide standard computer. He is a graduate of Montana State University with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

Robert E. Pasquarella
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Robert E. Pasquarella is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Cyber Security Technologies. He has spent his entire professional career in the information technology business in sales and marketing management, customer service, channel and distribution management and business development, with a focus on start-up and early stage development of new business enterprises.

Mr. Pasquarella was among the founding group of Lee Data Corporation; a Minnesota-based start-up in the intelligent terminal and distributed data processing market that grew from start-up to $115 million in annual revenue in five years. He subsequently joined Tricord Systems as Vice President of Business Development and was instrumental in building its revenue stream to $85 million within four years, enabling the company's successful IPO. He has served as a partner in The Zebulon Group, a corporate development consulting firm focused in providing a variety of management services to start-up companies by following an "incubator" model, and built the Asia-Pacific business presence for Stellent.

Mr. Pasquarella earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the NYU Graduate School of Business.
